Safety Tips

Here are some tips that you can follow in order to avoid injuries while playing soccer.


  • Before you start training for a soccer game make sure you go to the doctor to get a physical. That way they will know if you are healthy and ready to play.

  • Know the rules of the game.

  • Make sure you wear all the required safety gear every time you play or practice.

  • Wear soccer shoes with molded cleats or ribbed soles.

  • Before playing make sure that you warm up and stretch.

  • Make sure you know how to “head” the ball correctly to avoid head and neck injury.

  • If you get injured, see the doctor and make sure not to play while you are in pain.

  • Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water.

  • Make sure that you have a first aid kit at the games and practices in case of an injury.

  • Above all, enjoy playing soccer and have fun!!!!!
